Science becomes more meaningful when students can connect what they learn in the classroom with the world around them. Through its STEM education programme, Svarnim Puducherry continued to engage students from Classes VI to VIII in exploring scientific concepts through a range of topics spanning health, the living world, measurement and physical phenomena.

Across the month, STEM sessions were conducted in multiple schools, reaching a cumulative total of 1,078 student participations. The sessions covered a variety of themes, encouraging students to develop their understanding of scientific principles and explore how these concepts relate to everyday life.

The topics included Temperature and Its Measurement, Measurement of Length, Motion, Exploring Magnets, Invisible Living Beings, Health Is the Ultimate Treasure, Diversity in the Living World, Life Processes in Animals, and Exploring Substances: Acidic, Basic and Neutral. Together, these sessions introduced students to different areas of science, from understanding physical properties and movement to exploring living organisms, health and the characteristics of everyday substances.

The programme reached 599 girls and 479 boys across the four reported sets of sessions. By introducing students to a broad range of scientific topics, the initiative seeks to nurture curiosity, strengthen conceptual understanding and encourage young learners to observe, question and make sense of the world around them.

Through continued engagement with STEM education, Svarnim Puducherry aims to make science accessible and engaging, helping students build a strong foundation for further learning and scientific exploration.
