As an intern/volunteer at Svarnim, you will be responsible for the following:
•Fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors: This includes tasks such as conducting research, writing reports, organizing events, and supporting community outreach.
•Supporting in organizing meetings, field activities, and taking minutes: This includes ensuring that meetings run smoothly, taking notes, and following up on action items.
•Conducting research at a supervisor’s request: This includes identifying research questions, collecting data, analyzing data, and writing up research reports.
•Supporting in updating social media platforms and writing copies for posts: This includes creating engaging social media content that promotes Svarnim’s work.
The following are the qualities that we are looking for in our interns/volunteers:
•Excellent research and writing skills: You should be able to gather and synthesize information, write clear and concise reports, and communicate effectively with others.
•Strong communication abilities: You should be able to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, both verbally and in writing.
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Google platforms: You should be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite or Google platforms
•Time management and critical thinking skills: You should be able to manage your time effectively and think critically about problems.
•Taking initiative: You should be able to take initiative and work independently. If you have these qualities, we encourage you to apply for an internship or volunteer position at Svarnim!
