We are delighted to share that Svarnim Puducherry, of the Sri Aurobindo Society, was honoured at Water Meet 2025 – Jalashay, hosted by Marico Limited in Mumbai. This recognition shines a light on our sustained efforts to promote water conservation and eco-literacy across Puducherry.

At the heart of this achievement is our transformation of 100 Government Schools into Eco Campus Schools — each equipped with:

  • Rainwater Harvesting Systems
  • Grey Water Treatment Units
  • Hands-on Environmental Learning Tools (Building as Learning Aid – BALA)

These campuses now serve as living classrooms, where sustainability is not just taught — it’s practiced. Every child learns the importance of water, not just in theory, but through daily interaction with real systems that collect, conserve, and reuse it.

By turning school grounds into functional water labs, we’re planting the seeds of a water-wise culture and empowering students to become climate-conscious changemakers of tomorrow.

We are deeply grateful to Marico for recognising this work at the national stage and for reaffirming the importance of grassroots innovation in securing our shared water future.

Here’s to many more drops turned into ripples of change.
